An Indian student who has studied in India under 10+2 system therefore needs to do the BS course before enrolling for MD.In short an Indian student does a BS + MD course of 1.5-2 yrs approx and 4years respectively. The system is expected to ease out in the coming years as Philippines is switching over to 10+2 system.

Climate usually ranges between 23 to 32 degrees, which is similar to Indian climate.

The colleges puts more emphasis on practice over theory.

Living cost is comparitively less.
If you are planning to migrate to US, USLME (United States Licensing Medical Examination) Part 1 & 2 can be cracked in Philippines only under guidnace of medical professors.
Embasy is liberal which would help in easy student visa and quick processing of documentation.
Manila is considered as safest city.
Assessments at Philippines’s Universities are rigorous so it becomes easy to pass local licensing exams like USLME (United States Licensing Medical Examination), PLAB (Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board-UK), AMC (Australian Medical Council)-Australia,MCI Screening test- India, PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council)- Pakistan etc. and other board exams.
Follows the US education system, therefore it is beneficial in UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
The fees can be paid in affordable yearly installments, which would reduce financial burden on the students and their parents.
